We have a group called “Young Survivors”, for male/females ages 15-21, and meets Tuesday evenings 7-8:30pm. You must send a an email to Angel with your child’s biography and needs to Angelmarie1226@yahoo.com. The group is ran by Devin’s mother, Angel Bradley MSW (Masters in Social Work).
The Devin 4 Life Foundation is a non-profit organization working to create awareness and provide resources towards creating a bully and suicide free environment, and to provide information and assistance to anyone adversely affected by bullying and suicide in our communities.
We are made up of a group of volunteers connected in different ways to the Devin James Scott Story, for whose memory this foundation was named and created. It is our goal to reach out to families, schools, and businesses and create positive change in our communities across the nation. In doing so, we create awareness on both issues and gain support in our efforts to bring people together to take a stand against bullying and suicide. We feel it is important to bring these issues and their devastating effects to light, and to share ideas, resources and information. If we can provide help to even one person that will prevent a tragedy like the one we have experienced, then we are on the right path! Our dream is that no individual be made to feel worthless, helpless, or hopeless at the hands of others, and that no individual feel it is necessary or acceptable to inflict verbal, emotional, or physical harm to anyone.
How did we get our name? Through this tragedy, Devin’s mother Angel discovered that many of Devin’s log-on names and passwords on his computer and phone were “Devin 4 Life” spelled exactly that way.
What a statement he made then, and what better way to honor him than to keep that love of life attitude alive!
We appreciate your support in our efforts, and invite you to contact us. We are here to help all who ask!
